Gun Valkyrie: Multiplayer, or not to multiplayer?

I recently bought Gun Valkyrie for Xbox, and on the back it clearly states Players: 1-4. Now I played this game in single player a bit, and its alright, but tonight we "tried" to play multiplayer.

I say "tried", because, quite simply, there seems to be no multiplayer. At all. Is this right or not? if there isnt any, then this is a con job!

Surely if there is no multiplayer, then it shouldnt say otherwise on the back of the box. Cant they be prosecuted for this?

Sorry, but I bought this thinking it was multiplayer, and it doesnt seem to be. Simple as that.
