Res Evil 4 - Jap or NTSC

Which one is everyone buying? I've had my Jap version on pre-order for a while now but have just noticed that it has a later release date. Also do you think it will be in English like previous Jap versions?

Not sure whether to change my order to the US one (excellent packaging makes me want the Jap copy).

I'm buying the Japanese version - the dialogue through the entire series is English and the descriptive text in the previous games is mostly simply stating the obvious/easy to work out.

(JPN region games are NTSC too btw)

US version for me. I can put up with the crappy cover art, I neeed the game sooooo bad !!!1111!!!

US version. But that's because a friend in the US is getting me the Gamestop exclusive version supposedly in a tin with a soundtrack, DVD, videos etc.

US version. The puzzles in RE games are stupid enough in English, so in Japanese I'd be even more flummoxed.

Is the umbrella an 'actual' umbrella, or a small gift-like accessory? Ive ordered the standard one myself.

What about the PS2 version? I read somewhere that it will have a lot of extras.

Its an actual Umbrella ( hence the ?20 shipping cost which kind of put me off )

Its not actually an `Umbrella` Umbrella though, rather a black one with the Biohazard 4 logo on it ( PA have some pics up I think )

US version. Why? Because I can think so no reason to get the Japanese version... the US version comes out first, and has English text.

US also, I can't see a reason to go for the JP version aside from the [probable] lovely box. I'm crap at RE games (And I hate them, tbfh), so I've got no chance if there's any hint of a language barrier.

There were some floating around on Flee-Bay a few months ago along with assorted dog tags, and other collectables.

Someone should make some promotional Umbrella Umbrellas. There are sites around that would do it, but you'd have to order in bulk. I'd buy one

edit :- Chad, there are loads of RE lighters and stuff on ebay still. Just search for Biohazard instead of Resident Evil

Japanese vers all the way for me. Box art says it all Possabilities of a free mem card as with Biohazard: Remake. Crosses fingers.
