Panasonic Q - prog scan enabled?

I am just about to get a modded one but some sources indicate the Q is not progressive scan compatible despite having a digital av out in the back.

Please tell me this is not so.

And apologies if this has been answered previously, I wasn't able (or didn't see it) to find an answer with the search feature.

No its not... only for GC games... you can only watch dvd's through the composite/s-video not via using the GC component leads......

That's a huge relief for me, as it will be used mostly for games and an occasional DVD.
