US Consoles Question.

I'm in the process of buying my first ever US console (Xbox courtesy of Plisken), and I was wondering if the stepdown I'll need to buy, is the same as the stepdowns used for japanese consoles, I've only ever had japanese and PAL consoles in the past, so if someone could just clarify the situation for me, I'll be eternally grateful.

You can you your stepdown from your JPN console, and it will be fine.

ok, but as a temporary fix, can I use the stepdown from my jap DC with this incoming US Xbox?

no unless its 150w or above stepdown

Don't use the DC one! It's almost certainly not powerful enough.
