K-1 Dynamite Japan CD game wont load with Swap Magic?

Hi,
I ordered K-1 Dynamite from Lik-Sang about a month ago, it arrived this morning. And I attempted to play it using a slide card, with the swap magic cd, but after telling the game to boot the screen goes black and nothing happens, it doesnt even sound like the PS2 is trying to load the game. Does anyone have any ideas, or fixes from a similar problem they had. Would a mod-chip work better, if so where can i get one from? www.londonconsoles.com doesnt seem to offer the service anymore.

Youll be hard pushed finding anyone to mod your consol in the UK, you can still send off for chips from america and do it yourself. I got mine done at a computerfair recently, maybee if you know of any in your area it might be a similar story.

As for it not working with swap magic, i found this on another forum, where someone mentions the same problem:

One person on their mentions he cant get it to work with his swap magic, and another mentions that he has it working with swap magic, however none offer any kind of solution. (So at least you know it should work) Maybee you need the latest version of the swap magic disks.

Thanks for trying, but i managed to get it to work by sticking it in my pc, neroing a copy on the fly and using the copy. Which was a relief as i was beginning to think i had wasted ?30.
