Wipeout Fusion NTSC J????

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me if Wipeout Fusion got an NTSC J release, I know the game was not released in Japan, or it wasn't to my knowledge, but was it released in one of the other NTSC J territories?Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated as I am desperate to play it.

If it gets a japanese release, I'm sure it will be after the EU and US releases. Last I heard, it was confirmed as a UK launch title and, at the time, that was due to be the end of March. Now though, who knows.

You are getting confused with Wipeout Pure for PSP I think, Dogg Thang. He's talking about Wipeout Fusion - the dreadful sequel for the PS2, released years ago.

Wipeout Pure, yes. Billed as a return to the core Wipeout values, apparently, and sporting a guest track from each version along with new ones. Only reason I'm considering a PSP, tbh.

What's this Zone Mode I keep reading about?

I must admit I've only played the first two games in the series, loved them both

Zone mode is a challenge of control and speed. You just race lap after lap and the game gets faster and faster. Eventually, you'll have a real hard time controlling your craft. It's quite fun. Some people got really into it but some of the appeal was lost when people hit its limit - I think the scores reset or something because apparently the developers never thought anyone would do that well.
