    PC FPS Benchmark assistance please

Know how helpful you all are my memory is not as good as it used to be, comparing a couple of PC's and graphics cards and want to find out how to run the frame-rate benchmarks in:

    Quake 2
    Quake 3
    Unreal Tournament 2003
    Half Life 1
    Doom 3 Demo

    Any help appreciated

I believe there is an exe called Benchmark.exe in the UT2003 folder - execute it and follow the instructions...

HardOCP have a whole article about it along with their own UT2003 benchmarking tool: http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MzY4LDI=

        doom 3 should be

timedemo demo1.demo (ignore the first results tho cos the textures arent cached, use 2nd run and onwards results)

or i think u can use

        timedemo demo1.demo usecache

        $c8t@

Freddo; I'm having trouble Ctrl and ` doesn't do anything (assume there is a control panel in the demo)

                Ta.

                so; Quake 2 - sorted
                Quake 3 - sorted
                Unreal Tournament 2003 - sorted
Half Life 1 - need to know still please
Doom 3 Demo - can't find control panel

EDIT: found it; "You can access the console by pressing the
                combination CTRL+ALT+TILDE(~)"
