does the gamecube ps->gc convetors translate the analogue or the digital controls on a controller

do fighting games use both analogue and digital or do they use both espically which one does soul calibur 2 on the gc use

does the magic box translate the digital or/and digital controls on the ps

For the stick building question, I'd recommend trying http://www.arcadecontrols.com . They have a section on hacking a PSX controller and I'd bet the people on that forum would know a hell of a lot more about this kinda stuff then the people on here. No offence.

I borrowed a PS-GC controller adapter from a friend yesterday (not sure where he bought it from), but it only works with analogue (i.e. Dual Shock) PSX or PS2 pads - if you plug in a digital PSX pad or arcade stick then it does nothing at all.

Soul Calibur II on the GC uses both analogue and digital - you just use whichever you prefer.

Does yours work with psx digital pads/arcade sticks? My mate couldn't remember if he bought his from Game or Play or somewhere else...
