Taking a PSP apart to clean out dust..

I've just picked up my PSP and was a little bit dissappointed to discover about 6 spots of dust seemingly between the screen and the case, right in the middle of the display.. pretty annoying as they're visible clear as day right over your car when playing ridge racer.

I've seen Lik-sangs feature where they took their PSP apart and am thinking about doing the same to clear out the dust (in the bathroom after filling it full of steam to clear the air and using a lens blower to do the cleaning.

Anybody got any suggestions or reasons why I should maybe not do this?

Yep, not bothered about that tho.

The dust might be between the layers on the actual LCD screen rather than just behind the outer shell.

Other than that, the only thing I'd worry about is leaving it grubbier than when you started!

Don't think so in this case, they appear to be attached to the back of the outer screen and not to the surface of the lcd, as when I tilt the psp the pixels they obscure change.
