Connecting my Q to ss system...?

Ok so I finally set up my ss system and have an optical cable to plug it into my ps2 and xbox, fine.

Now seeing as I've got RE4 winging its way to me I need to hook it up to my Q. Just wondering what extra cables, if any, do I need?

I've already got a Saurian rgb cable if that helps.

    Answers on a postcard pls...

Optical from Q does nowt for games.

You just need phono outs from the Cube into your amp. Set amp to decode PLII.

Ta, and there was me thinking it was complicated.

I take it the phono outs are the extra connections (red and white) that hang off the rgb cable going into the back of my Q? This may be obvious but humour me...

I suspect the RGB cable plugs into the digtal port and you usually plug in all the other cables to your Q too.

Your cable takes the digital video, uses the composite sync and takes the stereo audio THEN squeezes that into a SCART block for your TV.

All you need to do is plug in the digital connector and the yellow av connector. Then use phonos from the phono outs directly from Q into your amp. (the red/white leads from your modified cable will be left dangling)

You'll just need a decent set of phono cables and you'll be set. Use your RGB cable as normal.
