Connecting my PSP to my PC = NO JOY!!

I apologise for posting this, i realise it must be elsewhere on these forums but...

How do i get my PSP to show up on my PC so i can make a start making videos for my PSP for when i go away next week?

I've plugged in the machines lead into the USB port on the front of my PC but it's not picking up anything!

Where the hell do i start?

You tried the ports on the back of the PC? Some MP3 players don't work on the front ports of my PC, only the back one.

What OS are you running ?? Is the PSP in USB mode ???

Yep, go to the far left on the PSP home screen, and go up to find the 'usb mode'!

Why is the 3g convertor i keep being pointed to full of code? Barely a single word can be made out! Anyone know what's up there?

run setup and select english. Select the renamed PSP option and away you go,

I honestly missed the part where you can scroll down and change the txt to English
