    Ordering from Video Games Plus

Quick question..... if I order from VGP+, will I need to pay any customs, freight, or any other "hidden price" not included in the cost after final checkout? And what shipping service do they use? UPS... DHL.... FEdex?

no hidden prices, they usually mark down cost of items to below ?18 so they do their best to help you avoid import tax - think they use ems for shipping? could be wrong!?

Anyone else having a problem ordering from then at the moment ?

The site wont let me add anything to my cart - being doing it since yesterday.

Couldn't they just send the item as "gift". Then it doesn't really matter what the value is eh? I mean, my order is about $186 (U.S.). I really don't think they can mark that as below ?18! What do you think would happen?

Yeah, I have the same problem. I want to add something to cart, but it just keeps on saying that it's empty.

airmail is their choice unless you ask

            everything is sent economy

but as stated by my fellow member - they do their best and everything is stated as a $20cdn book

even my DS came from them and it was shipped via DHL marked as a $20cdn book - no duty for me

think Saurian has experienced some parcels going missing due to his local thieving post office and they replaced with with no bother

            so a very good company

don't think companies can post as a gift! - they might put sample or return sometimes which is playasia's trick at times

think is with gift that only covers you upto mid ?30 level

but if customs beleive you have paid a penny towards any part of the package and that includes shipping its merchandise

but its seems like their policy to mark stuff down as i've never asked them to do that

If you look at the bottom of there pages there are errors like:

Warning: Unknown(): write failed: Disk quota exceeded (122) in Unknown on line 0

                  and

Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

appearing. Looks like there having site problems. I've been trying to track the status of an order and I can't get into my account due to it.

When filling in the final bits and pieces of your order, there's a special box at the bottom where you can put additional info on your order, e.g. request something (I'm sure you know). Anyway, I'm ordering a gba sp, 2 games and link cable (in case it helps), so what should I write in that box so that they know to send the package without any liability to customs charges?
