NTSC games in EU region?

Hi,
I am thinking of buying some games from outside of EU.. mostly from USA.
so the question, can I buy Atari 2600 and Colecovision games from the states and play them with no probs? I live in Sweden and yeah.. have the PAL system.

Hey Dasse.

As far as I know, there's no region lockout on 2600 or Colecovision games - a friend of mine has one of the biggest collections of them in the country, loads of US titles in there, and they're all fine.

Good thing to collect, by the way - they look ace!

sounds great then! so no flickering picture as on DVD movies and stuff?
i mean if i buy a NTSC movie I can?t see them here in Sweden :P

Get yourself over to the Retro folder and let us know what sort of stuff you have, and what you're looking for. I can always keep an eye out for stuff you're looking for - there's a thriving US import scene here in the UK...

I have just recived one Colecovision for free, so I have just began so check around for the games.. but will come back later!
