X-Box Hard Driving cache issue

Hi all, I'm having trouble getting Links to work my X-Box The game won?t go any further than the Title screen. I know the game it?s self is fine because I have tried it on 2 other X-Boxes and the game loads no trouble.

Plus I know my X-Box is fine as all other games load and play fine. Beginning to think I have an hard driving cache issue.

Does anyone how I can clear the bad buffer and how I go about it.

The xbox cache stores the last three games you played. So just start up 3 different games, then try links again. Also check in your savegames for anything from links.

This might sound silly, but does it matter if leave I the X-Box on or off while changing games

I coulnd't be 100% sure but there should be no problem leaving it on.

Leaving it on's fine... I had an issue running both KOTOR and Crimson Skies on my Xbox until I cleared the caches by loading three games I hadn't played in ages.

if your xbox is chipped then you can do what i do. i've stuck an entry in my evox menu that formats the X,Y and Z drives (they're the caches). Does the job in about 1/2 a second. If it ain't chipped, then just do what these lot say...
