Need info on Japanse Metroid Prime (1)

I?m working on a essay which will be entitled Mysteries Enshrouding the Total Rampant Overabundance of Incarnations Document aka Metroid and I looking for some information regarding the Japanese version of Metroid Prime (1) for the GameCube.



* First of all, does a Japanese Metroid Prime exist?

* If so, does it feature any GBA Connectivity with Metroid Fusion?
* If so, does it unlock the original Metroid from 1986?
* If so, which version of the original Metroid is being emulated? Is the USA NES Cartridge version or is it the Japanese Famicon Disk System version?

thanks for the confirmation.... I was affraid of it's existence....now I have to find out what, if any, Metroid is emulated as unlockable.
Oh well.
