DC Stick > Xbox Pad conversion

Is it possible to rip open a DC arcade stick, rip open an xbox pad and connect the relevant points from the stick to the board of the pad and shove them all back into the DC Stick casing?

Is it possible with any Joypad?

And would it be a difficult task?

Its really quite easy to do. I've done 2 now, one for me and one for my little brother. All you have to do is take the PCB out of any Xbox pad, solder the wires from the DC stick buttons to the pad PCB (you have to use the black and white buttons instead of the analogue triggers), then connect the corresponding points on the d-pad to the points on the DC joystick (if you're using an official pad, you can't solder directly onto the pressure sensitive pads cos its graphite, not copper, you'll have to find the corresponding points) You can scratch away the green coating on the official pads PCB to make a point to take the power from. Also remember to keep all of the analogue switches on the PCB. You can take the actual plastic triggers off (I'd recommend this as it makes mounting the PCB alot easier), but make sure to keep the small square plastic switches in place.
