Xbox RGB gives a yellow tinted picture

As the title says my xbox rgb cable gives a yellow picture. Its not terirble but its bad enough to make all whites have a horrible tint of yellow.

Can anyone suggest what i gotta do to the cable to rectify it. Or would it be my xbox?

I think it could be your Xbox, my brother had the same problem with his US Xbox. Hopefully it will be your RGB lead. I will ask my brother later, his name on the forum is Rawlo if you want to give him a pm.

Just in case, some TVs (like mine) have independent color temperature settings for each input. Just like changing the white level on your PC monitor can make everything seem yellow, the same can happen with the wrong color temp setting on your TV. If they're independent, normal TV stations/composite/RF could be on another setting and look fine. I set the color temp on my RGB channel to high, probably 9300K, and get washing powder commercial whites from my Xbox. On its lowest setting, things get kind of yellow.

It may well turn out to be your cable or Xbox, but I just wanted to mention this in case.

My TV has the temp. settings - you need to repeatedly hit the AV button to change them.

The X-Box gives out a ****ty RGB signal anyway I find. The reds bleed badly.

I got red bleed on S-video with the Xbox, but it totally sharpened up when I switched to component. I use the red crosshair in the middle of Rainbow Six as a reference, as it's only about a pixel wide and is bright red.
