    Question about NTSC GBA SP

    Hello all

I'm about to order a gba sp from videogamesplus.ca, and it says there that I may require a step down converter. Now, will the step down converter that I have for my ntsc cube work??

Also, can the gba sp run on two AA batteries, like the past gameboys? Or is the only power source the litium ion battery?

    Thanks

PAL and NTSC are television standards, they dont apply at all to handheld machines. A UK GBA SP charger will work perfectly fine, as will your current stepdown.

I'm sorry, I'm confused. So you're saying I can buy a UK gba sp charger (how much does it cost?) OR use my american charger with stepdown?

just buy a UK one from GAME for about 6 quid (I think) - will work fine with both US GBA SP and US DS

                  One more question...

will I need some headphone adaptor, or does the gba sp have a standard headphone jack in it already?

No you need an adaptor. I have seen the offical ones for ?4.99 from HMV, although available elsewhere, and certainly thirty party ones are even cheaper.

Just curious but is there any reason you're going for a GBA over a DS?

I'm not going over. I'm getting this gba sp for my little sister, though the 2 games that I'm getting with it (both metroids), I'm actually getting for myself. I'm getting a DS (for myself) as soon as they release mario kart ds and metroid prime hunters (so sometime end of may, middle of june). Until then, there isn't much reason to own one.
