Neo RGB Lead question.

I just bought one of these from VGI, really well wired up, unfortunately the 8 pin DIN pin array was the wrong size (slightly bigger), so I had to go to Maplin and buy another...doh.

Because I wanted to leave my Neo original I decided against all the various mods, so I am having to use this lead in order to get stereo sound out of the front head-phone input.

Anyway, the question is, whenever I plug the scart into my tv, I get sound, but also a buzzing noise out of my speakers. The head phone lead doesnt even have to be plugged in the Neo, just the DIN out the Neo and into the back of my TV to get this sound.

Bit of a long shot asking, but I thought it was worth a try....any ideas.

Few things to try - make sure the wiring inside the DIN connector is neat and nothing is touching the metal casing or wires touching together.

Other thing is open the SCART connector and make sure the audio wires and pins arent touching eachother or anything. Try linking a wire from pin 18 (ground) to pin 4 (audio ground) aswell, it may help clear the noise up or if there is an audio connection from the Neo AV port as well try disconnecting that and only run audio off the separate cable.

Looks like I had a wire slightly touching another, sounds alot better now.
