Xbox Dev Kit Qu...?

Is there anyway at all of getting retail discs to play on an xbox dev kit...?

Spoke to my m8 at Xbox and he says that it's a security thing, no retail discs will run on it and no dev kit discs will run on a standard xbox. Fair enough I suppose.

So I was just wondering is there by any chance a way of chipping, hacking, god knows what the dev kit to play retail discs, I'm very doubtful after speaking to my m8 but you never know with the xbox scene..?

probably just a software, checking for signed code and vice versa. chipping would get around it, no problem. you can run a debug bios on a chipped retail console without any issue, runs retail stuff fine.
