    How to clean a PSP

My PSP is fingerprint city and I'd like to clean it up nicely, as I am selling it and want whoever buys it to recieve it in perfect condition. I've tried tissues but that doesnt remove the marks, it just smears them around
Any tips? I have loads of cloths etc. about the house, but I'm scared of scratching it-how do you clean yours?

Just use a glasses cleaning cloth, simple as that

I got a little cloth with the screen protectors for my DS, cleans it up a treat with a quick wipe or two - not sure where you'd get them seperately, try looking for glass polishing cloths or something

Best thing i found for cleaning handheld screens is a microfibre cloth. They are amazing for removing greasy marks from screens. It gets used all the time on my ds & gba & dosent leave a single mark. It also picks up the dust & keeps it in the cloth. Jesus i sound like a infomercial. Trust me they work like magic, just make sure you get a soft one as they vary in stiffness i have found.

Not sure where you get them from as my mum picked up mine for me, im guessing the supermarket, at the cleaning section.

          ... ahh well simple minds.

Any way I find that a spritz of window cleaner and a fleece swatch work wonders on all my handhelds and monitors

I use a little Pentax microfibre lens cleaning cloth on all my LCD screens, and it works a treat on the entire PSP facia.

It removes all marks, and doesn't create those nasty hair scratches you often get with other cloths, given that it's meant for use on super delicate optical equipment. I don't think you could find anything better for the job...

A soft cloth with a little window cleaner sprayed onto it for, works a treat and still looks minty mint.

I thought I was doing a good job on my PSP until I held it under a light, absolutely covered with those hairline scratches in a radial fashion which I assume came from my soft cloth.

In the end I just bought one of those "BE-ART" screen protectors and must say I enjoy the PSP a lot more now I can just grab it and not have to worry about touching the screen. It does impact the screen quality slightly though, a bit like a really fine noise filter has been applied to the entire screen. I'd still say it's worth getting a protector though, for practicality and peace of mind.

Yeah, while it's certainly a beautiful machine to behold, the resulting fingerprints are a real pain, and that means endless buffing.

However, having only ever used my microfibre lens cloth on it, the whole facia is still absolutely perfect -- even when held under a lamp -- so I'd throroughly recommend getting one of those if you're particularly fussy.
