    Quick Cable/ADSL router question

My friend has an NTL cable internet connection and has bought himself a Belkin ADSL Wireless Router (F5D7630UK4A). It has a port marked ADSL on the back. Am I correct to I assume this will not work with a cable internet connection?

Yes, ADSL will not work with Cable DSL, or the other way round.

      Thanks, as I suspected.

He could use the NTL modem with the new router if he wanted to distribute his internet connection. (assuming the NTL modem does not use a USB port)

if its got an rj45 port to plug the modem in then it would work fine
