How do you put mp3's onto the psp??

I've done a search and cant seem to find any information on how to actually put mp3's onto the psp. At the moment i've actually put the mp3 onto the psp but the psp cant actually detect it although i can see the mp3 file in windows explorer.
any ideas?

IIRC you need to put the files into a folder called PSP\MUSIC on the memory stick. I think you're allowed one level of folders below that one too.
