Worth chipping a jpn ps2 with hard drive????

Need some advice, I've got a midnight blue jpn ps2 with offical hdd and network adaptor. I'm thinking of getting the dms ezi no solder mod chip for it. I had a us ps2 but sold it and have a few usa ps2 games left over.

I was looking for some opinions wether i should chip this machine, get a usa ps2 as well, or just sell this and get a chipped pal machine.

Any ideas?

Yeah why not, it's cheaper than shelling out for a US PStwo.

will i be able to use the dms hard drive app will conflict with the official software on the hdd?

Im pretty sure it will conflict!

I myself had a midnight blue ps2 that I wanted to chip, but I remember reading that you cant run the bbnavigation software on the HD anymore if you chip it, so I just bought a whole new premoded pal ps2.
