Xbox Component Cables Quickly

So basically I thought I would never have the urge to buy a surround sound system so I bought the IXOS Xbox Component cable which doesn't have optical digital output. Well....I have got a 5.1 system now and basically I want 5.1 out my xbox as quickly as possible.

I was having a look around but I can't find the official component pack from a UK retailer, am I just going to have to wait to get it from play-asia or is there a website I don't know about that sells it?

I've got the Gamester HD one boxed and unused.

I tried it on my proj but got a bit of hatching, might not have the same problem on a TV.

You can have it for nowt, not sure how much the postage is but if you really want it you can chuck drop the amount it costs me to send it in a Tsunami appeal box.

if your even slightly nifty with a soldering iron you can add spdif output to your xbox in about 2 seconds and some very common parts flat, www.xbox-scene.com has guides.

I couldn't do it myself as I have never soldered before in my life, however I will go down to my local mod shop and see if they can do it but this cable Dirty Sanchez is kindly giving me should be the solution to all my worries. We will just have to wait and see what the picture quality is like thats the only thing that can go wrong really but I don't think there will be a problem.
