Blank DVD's-where from

Hi all
Just got myself a DVD burner so was wondering where the best place to get blank DVD's is,probably in a batch of 50 or so,and also what types/make do you guys use?
Any recomendations?

you can get large batches from http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk , but then I have no experience of using any of the discs they sell.

I bought some Memorex DVD+R from www.play.com for ?18 (EDIT: they're a tenner now for 25), in tubs of 25, and they're fine for me. Of course, if anybody can recommend some decent disk brands on Blankdiscshop, then please do so - It's just that the last time I ordered from there the brands were all different! :S

I tend to go for brands that use Ritek dye, from either www.svp.co.uk or www.bigpockets.co.uk

i recommend ritek discs, or any with a Taiyo Yuden dye (mainly verbatim) and use blankdiscshop.co.uk

Get the Riteks from http://www.neodiscs.com/ - Ive used them for a long while now, good service and decent prices.

I was actually wondering this myself...

I built a PC last year and bought a Pioneer 106 dvd writer, however I've never actually used it even once!

Does anyone know what format of discs it uses? Wouldnt mind trying it out

the pioneer 106 can read/write to dvd-r/rw and dvd+r/+rw and also cd-rs and cd-rws aswell as read dvd and cdrom discs
