    Hey!

Can i please have a list? also, Does MGS3:SE and GTA:SA NTSC version contain progressive scan? And will GT4 bothe PAL and NTSC contain PS???

    Thanks a lot!!!

The US version of MGS 3 as far as I'm aware does not. The NTSC version of Suikoden IV does, as do PAL versions of Tekken 4, The Getaway and Jak II.

the ps2 really isn't the console to own for progressive scan mate.

there are only a handful of supported titles.

The US version of GT4 supports ps. So im hoping the PAL release will do as well, I can't see why they couldn't include it as an option.

Well, I've got the following three PAL PS2 games that offer progressive scan as an option (in all 3 cases from within the options menus rather than via the hold X and triangle method)

          Beyond Good and Evil
          Primal
          Ghost Hunter

I haven't tried them out yet, as I'm waiting for my PS2 component lead to arrive...

and on the subject of PAL GT4, it doesn't look promising, these guys reckon it isn't happening:

As usual, it sucks to be a PAL gamer

Why can't they include progressive scan support if you run PAL GT4 in NTSC?

            Surely that's an easy option...

Well, if the source in that link is to be believed, then there isn't an NTSC option at all - they've made the 50Hz PAL version run at full-speed, full-screen instead. (Obviously, if they were really trying, they could do both, but hey it's only the PAL version, so why would they bother )

Remember, they'd have to "include two copies of the game on the disc" to support NTSC mode in the PAL version!

                ****ing dicks. What complete cobblers.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time definitely has a progressive option in the menus in PAL-land - it's what I used to test if my TV could cope with the signal (it couldn't, unsurprisingly).

Prince of Persia: WW and Ghost Hunter both do too on PAL.

PAL progressive sucks, tho: it's 50hz... I'd want an NTSC progressive option out of a PAL game if it were to offer it...

Jak 3 has Pal Progressive Scan, looks lurvley too Also has widescreen support and 50/60 hz. Only gripe is that you have to set it to 60hz and progressive each and every time you switch the game on - as looking in the menu setup, it doesn't seem to save your settings.

If it's progressive running at 60hz then it has to be NTSC progressive... it ain't PAL...

the original question was "What Pal Ps2 games support PS" Jak 3 does, its in the game set up menus. However i think you are rightin what you said, as far as i know, isn't it a ntsc signal that the PS2 outputs at 60hz?

I'm just sayin'... I don't run Prog Scan from my PS2 but if I did I sure as **** wouldn't want it to be PAL progressive (which isn't really even a standard anyway).
