Any cable out there better than RGB for consoles?

Having come to the realisation that my RGB cables have a very minimal improvement over the standard cable supplied with the PS2/Xbox/GC, I'm just wondering if there is anything that actually does what it says it does.

I have one RGB cable that claims to improve visual quality on my PS2 by over 25%. After fixing it in and loading it up, I'm forced to say as it does squat. Still the same hella-jag with GTA:SA but with an ?10 price tag

Maybe its because I'm not meant to see a difference on an LCD screen, but still.

all my consoles I see a vast improvement from std cables when i use rgb, mind im a sucker for buying specific ones, i never touch third party only official, also i use a crt screen still.

LCD screens aren't too great for games. They are a little blurrier, but nothing will make a ps2 un jaggy, RGB just makes the picture sharper so y0ou can see jaggies more

I think that if you can't tell much difference between standard composite over RGB then you either...

a) Need glasses, thick ones.
b) Have bought ****ty, wired incorrectly cables.
c) Have the RGB cables plugged into the wrong SCART socket.
d) Have a **** tv.

What connector does it use? Many LCD's have no RGB Scart connector, so I'm interested in exactly how you're plugging it into the LCD screen.

Other than that, there's not much improvement between s-video and RGB SCART on an LCD.
