hi I was wondering which is the easiest solderless chip to get up and running. I have tried in vain for the last year to get my chamelon chip to work with no luck so i'm looking for an alternative?

I've got an Xecuter Lite 2.1 solderless...
I had a helluva time getting it to sit properly on the mobo, though, and it still jogs loose occasionally (even with the little bit of padding I've stuck on the top to help hold it in place).
My advice - get it done professionally. -
Things have moved on since then though. The newest chips such as the Xenium Ice and Xecuter 3 use much more stable solderless adaptors.
I use an Xecuter 2.6 with the Xaptor solderless adaptor and never had a single problem.Comment
