You can use component, it just wont do progressive scan.

Out of the choices, i would go with Component > RGB Scart > S-Video

although the difference between standard component and RGB are almost unnoticable

I've never touched Xbox RGB and jumped straight from s-video to component.

It alright, I use it on my projector. Not too much different from RGB really, since the RGB output is fairly **** on an Xbox.

XBox RGB is the worst thing since RF - you're better off sticking your finger in...

Component > Finger > RGB > S-Video

i noticed this as i had been using the standard lead for months , bought an rgb lead and no difference well the colours looked better but nothing much
