dvd authoring software....

hey all,

ive been given the mission to edit some footage for a pr vid for a shop. im usin premier for the editing so thats sorted...im now lookin for a program that can put the footage onto dvd. something not too advanced i would like to do animated menus etc for it. Basically im lookin for a pc equivilant of idvd.

and before any of you suggest yes I do plan to buy a mac but not for a couple months and i need this done in 2 weeks

Ifoedit should be good for simple authoring.

I dunno if it's specifically free stuff but if you're willing to pay "Nero Vision Express 3" which is part of the Nero 6 package is pretty good and it's pretty cheap too!

Macs as a must for video editing is a myth... The software is great but I don't think there's anything that can't be done on a windows system quicker.

It's not free but I tend to use TMPGEnc DVD Author.
