    Gamestation Credit Question

    Hi,

Does anyone know how long a Gamestation credit slip is valid for after issue?

    Thanks.

i think its a year, or as long as they can read it i think.

It's still readable, so that's not a problem.

However, it was issued in May 2003, so if it is a year, it won't be usable now.

      Thanks.

Surely they can't just take your games and not give you any money/credit for them though, regardless of how long it's been? The least they can do is re-value the games you traded in and give you a new credit note...

If you agree to a credit note, you've agreed to whatever t&cs the shop has imposed and statutory rights do not apply - hence if it expires, it's expired. As a goodwill gesture the shop in question may reissue, but they are not obliged to do so...

Every time I asked they said they lasted forever, just say that and they cant really argue.

Yup, they say that the notes have no expiry.
