Plugging a Sega Nomad into a TV

What cable do I need to do this? If I can locate a SCART cable that has the same connection as the port on the Nomad will it work?

Yeah, it's the same connector that's used on a MegaDrive II or MegaJet.
It's pretty hard to find those SCART leads though, eBay may be your best bet.

I thought as much. I had two of the bloody things, but sold them both with my 32X thinking I wouldn't need the 'spare' one anymore. Fook.

      Anyone got a spare?

If a 32x cable would work on the nomad..doesn't the 32x have the same connection as a japanese saturn?

        If so wouldn't that work?

Wheela - not too sure...but if you're right then you've saved me some cash as I have several RGB SCART leads for my Saturn.

However I seem to recall the socket on the Nomad being slightly bigger...

Well I guess we'll both be checking tonight..I'm pretty sure the connection is the same now that I think about it....I say this as a while back I got a derby saturn that wouldn't give out a piccie..so i tried loads of various leads just in case and am adamant I tried a 32x one too.

(If it does work I have lots of spares etc..I junked the derby but kept all the gubbins leads box etc)

I've got no way of checking - my Nomad and Saturn are in storage at my folks house! However I'll be going over this weekend and I fully intend to bring the Nomad back with me. If you check tonight could you let me know for sure?

                They're not the same connector.
