    PAL Jungle Beat - works on US cube with Freeloader?

    Sorry, posted this in First Play, but should really have done it here...

    Does the PAL version of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat work with a US/JPN cube using Freeloader 1.06b?

    hey tiddles, the answer is a big fat NO. (on my console at least)

    looks like I'll have to buy a newer version of Freeloader to go with the non-functioning copy of Jungle Beat sitting in front of me...

      I recall there was web site listing all PAL/NTSC GC titles with compatibility on FL...
      I will post when I can dig up the address...

        Just get the JPN version if the PAL version doesn't work, there's barely a single word of Japanese text.

          Simply Games are doing Freeloader 1.06B for ?7.89, so it's not going to be too hard/expensive to sort out.

            Woah.. are you telling me that jungle beat won't work with the version 1.06B (the one simply are selling now)?

            Also, are there two 1.06 versions? 1.06b and 1.06B, correct?

              yes.
              there was 1.06b and then few months down the track they released 1.06B with few minor patch/fix...
