FF Crystal Chronicles - real time or turn based?

I always thought this game was going to feature real time combat, yet in the Edge preview it says it is turn based.

Which is correct *crosses fingers and hopes it is real time*?

well, I hope real time, because I'm really starting to tire of turn based combat.

blah cook just cos ur mental capcity is nil but you can bash buttons like theres no tomorrow

at least with real time, you have to think and act at a decent pace, rather than wait your turn, long drawn out summons etc, enemy attacks blah blah.

It is real time. There's been a number of changes, so it's really the complete opposite of your standard Japanese RPG. Have a look here.

I'm a bit doubtful about this cause none of my friends own a GC or GBA, so no multiplayer. I'm looking forward to Tales of Symphonia though, which is more traditional and has been confirmed for a US release.
