SNES converters

Right, I've just got my hands on a US SNES (well, there's on on its way) because after 12 years of letterboxes and slower games, I've had enough!

Are there any converters around that enable you to play PAL (and JP for that matter) games on an American machine? I'm assuming it'd be simple & straightforward and display them full screen etc, or would something weird happen?

A quick look on Ebay hasn't yielded anything conclusive.

Just cut the tabs out inside the cart slot. Instant Japanese compatibility

Ah right, I didn't know JP and US were the same inside! Or rather, I might have done 10 years ago but have since forgotten.

I just realised an American SNES will actually go quite nicely beside a purple Cube. Swish!
