Do you know if any of these dont charge youre credit card straight away? im only 16 and have a solo card, so obviously the funds wont clear, and im not gonna have this sorta money until the launch date.

VG+ did do a buy now pay later scheme but I would assume that everyone else would take the money straight away. Try DVDBoxOffice and DVDSoon also. I wouldnt recommend DVDBO though as they can take an eternity.

Same with DvdSoon, but they're cheap at the mo.

I was told that the cheapest isn't always the best. Something that I now champion.

I paid for my VG+ PSP on preorder now, pay later. They seem to have sold out now, though - the US PSP has vanished from their site completely.

DVD Box Office is the root of all evil - wait for VG+ to get a restock rather than risking your money there.

Simple. They can sell the JPN Standard Pack with Ridge for ?215. By removing the US Value Pack (the price they had up was ?120 or thereabouts) from the site until launch which is still another month away they make a hell of a lot more I assume. Factor in a ?30 copy of Ridge = ?150 and you save a considerable amount. What a price point too. Then when the US PSP is out they will open orders again. Good things come to those who wait. Ok so the value pack isn't necessarily much to shout about but when its ?120 and a Standard JPN PSP with Ridge is ?215 I'm going to wait.

Funny thing though is that the PSP Value Pack US which I preordered from VG+ was ?120 and I've spent ?120 buying 4 games on launch with it. Crazy.

Ooh, you cynic. Based on my experience with VG+, I'm happy to take it that they've actually been flooded with more orders than they can handle and have taken the value pack off the site to prevent disappointment. I know that before their preorders went live they were discussing how to deal with the inevitable supply and demand problem, and that seems like a good enough solution - take enough preorders to cover their supply (and then some) and then put orders on hold until they get more.

As for the game costs, that's a good thing in my book - I always think new hardware isn't worth buying until you can happily spend as much on software as on hardware for it.

Besides, if you think that's bad, I'm spending ?100 or so on a 1GB memory stick and a reader for it, so that I can have some video/audio/pictures ready for when the PSP arrives.
