Deinterlacing footage (i think) in adobe premier

Hey all. I got adobe premier and im looking to what I think is called de interlacing my video footage. Basically what it does is it converts the 29.97 fps or whatever its of footage into 24 fps (which is how movies are shot). Anyone here familiar with this or know of any plugins that help do this?

btw Im using the latest version of premier pro if that helps.

    Phil.

that would be aimed at 2:3 pulldown ntsc source, converted from 24 fps film stock.

the filter will attempt to convert back to the original 24 fps frames.

Not really sure cos i've not had to de-interlace before but, when you come to export your timeline as a movie, click on settings (this is obviously where you get to choose how the movie is exported, what format, audio options etc.)

On one of the menus (special filters, i think) you can tick a box called de-interlace, i'm presuming this will work(?) and is what you're looking for.

      Hope this helps
