    Driver Query

When ever I try to install a new set of drivers for my graphics card they refer to my card as the HIS Ati 9550se instead of the HIS Ati 9550. The default drivers that came with it work fine.. What can I do about this?

It shouldn't affect the performance in any way, just display a different name. Dunno why it's doing that though... unless the manufacturer is trying to pass off the slower SE model as a regular one to its customers

Download Everest from that link if you want to check - 9550 has a 128-bit memory bus, 9550SE has 64-bit. You might want to check with both drivers to ensure the program isn't using the driver name to lookup the relevant statistics (don't think it does though).

Until two days ago, I had the 256MB version of our HIS card -I never had that problem, but I didn't really look too hard either... I do know it has a little white sticker on the back which says "128-bit memory interface"
