Ive noticed that this is available on a few sites, but I cant find any screens, reviews etc. Anyone know where to find some info on it?

Naruto and Sasuke run into their first side-scrolling platform action game after interactive forays on the Wonderswan and a 3-D fighting game on the Gamecube. Sakura and other characters from the anime series also make an appearance throughout the levels. Players with the GC version of Naruto may link up to GBA Naruto for new options.

What type of game is it? Is it a scrolling beat em up, or a 1 on 1 beat em up, or even a game a bit like Shinobi?

It is hard to tell from those screens, and my French is non existant.

Anyone played the GC one, its looks super cool and i am seriously thinking of getting it, but from what i have heard its sounds pretty simple control wise and i think this might make the game short and boring.

Yeah I have just read Yashiros post above mine and it says that, but I am sure that his post only mentioned the link to the screens before. Am I going mad?

I may pick this up as I need another side scroller before Viewtiful Joe arrives.

It is a side scroller. Quite a bit of Jap text and some very strange bosses that morph from concrete blocks into fat women in swim suits! and thats just the 1st level.

My copy of this game is still in the post! should be getting it soon. You guys should be able to find some info at gamefaqs.com. There are hints and codes there as well.... or visit the message boardIf you watch the anime the 'strange' bosses actually comes from the anime ( which is really good by the way).

So far reviews of this game has been good but some suggested that it might be a little on the short side.

Good, but short lived game as its quite easily untill you reach the bosses.

Levels go like this

Platforming with fighting and finding hidden characters(not playable just people from the series, like Hinata and the instructors) and hidden leaf icons to boost your score. Then when you reach the end of the level there's a boss fight, that'll have u fighting the likes of Rock Lee, Haku, Ino's gang, Neji (basically everyone untill the fight with Gaara inthe anime/manga, so thats alot)

The best thing about the fighting is the chakra power, holding down the attack button charges a bar up that releasing are different times result in usually huge special attacks, Naruto has his Sexy no Jitsju, his Shadow Clone and that new special move he invents while fighting Kiba inthe exam to name a few. I haven't been Sasuke yet so i im not sure but i guess it'll contain the Dragon Fire attacks. The bosses have same style supers to, Rock Lee being truely ace (i won't tell you what it is as it super funny and would spoil it).
