I have hundreds of mp3 albums collected over the years and now I have a sony NW-HD3 in replacement of my old iPod. Problem is whilst natively this device does support mp3s unlike the HD1, it seems it does not support MP3s encoded in VBR which comprises only about 2% of my albums fortunatly
Does anyone know of any free software that can re-encode these mp3s to a standard 128/160 bitrate? Would be nice if I didn't lose the ID3 tags too!
Sonicstage software is a bit fickle to say the least!
Thanks
