    Super Famicom and converters

I've got a Super Famicom and I want to run my US games on the system (without harming the system to allow for the carts to plug directly into it). I know games like Super Mario RPG have trouble dealing with PAL SNESes and converters, but is it the same case trying to run the game(s) via a Super FX chip compatible converter on a SFC? I know it might be a long shot asking here but I don't have much to lose by asking. I'm a long time reader of the forums and I think I've got a chance in asking. Thanks in advance.

I'm 99% certain it will work fine with a converter (as long as it has all the pins for super fx). I have a super famicom and have no probs running any of my games including Stunt Race FX which is Super FX. They are identical machines apart from the cart size and the yucky lilac buttons!

Yeah any pass through convertor will do the job for the Jap Super famicom mate.

One thing to remeber though is games like Starfox and Wild Trax(us name Stunt Race FX) use all the pins in the cartridge slot, so you need to get a pass through convertor which also uses all the pins. They are not hard to find, Ebay has them and maybe Lik Sang too, but don't hold me to Lik Sang. You will have no problems with any games region wise, as some one has already stated , the machines are identical.
