For all those using an XBox in a Jamma cab

Has anyone on here managed this?

If so, is it straightforward? Specifically, I'm interested in the video only, as sound and controls are straightforward to wire up.

Is it simply a case of wiring up the red, green and blue wires, and then building one of those sync-stripping circuits (as illustrated on www.gamesx.com etc) and hooking that up to the monitor's composite sync wire?

What I'm wondering is, as the monitor is lo-res, and that the XBox would be outputting 15kHz on the sync wire, does it not matter if the stuff played on the XBox is high-resolution?

Also, when playing emulators on the monitor, should I just turn off any filtering techniques or enable certain ones? Seems turning them off causes the XBox's hardware stretch to just blur the screen, as it does!

Any help would be appreciated (gamesx's forum is down)
