All 3 are good, will do what you want and are user friendly. Suggest you look at what you'll get for your money as they each offer other things as well which may be of use to you in the future. Try out the demo versions too to see what you find easiest.

BTW, I've got nero vision express 2 but I can't get it to convert avi's to vob?

I may just go for the Nero Reloaded thing and get the whole lot. All these different formats and plug-ins are making my head hurt!
