Ps2 won't eject

I have had a modded Ps2 for while now, this the 2nd time its happened, currently i have Tekken5 in the Ps2 and the eject button will not work so i can't get it out.

Anyone got any ideas?

Does the blue light simply flash while nothing happens?

It's most probably the ribbon cable connecting the mainboard of your PS2 to the drive. I've got a pic of the inside of my PS2 somewhere hang on I'll find it.

Blue lights on, but press it and nothing happens. No idea how it fixed itself the last time, i just got pissed off and didn't play onthe dammed thing for couple of days.

Damn I can't find it, sorry mate .

Open up the bottom of your PS2 and have a look inside. There should be a ribbon cable to the top left once you've removed the metal plate. Check that's secure.

best thing to open it up and try it with the top off , if it doesn't eject then i'd say buy a new ribbon cable for it
