netplay on mulit region consoles

ive never gone on line with a console so id like a little info please .

ive never been into PAL games all my games are US or JPN so if i was to go online with an xbox but a US or JPN copy of 3rd strike would this work or would i need a PAL version of the game ?

Should be OK provided the disc/xbox are compatible.

I remember reading that some guy in the US was playing the JPN version of SF:AC online as it is Region Free. He was bragging about how much time he got in before the release the US date.

just don't change your Xbox once registered with XLIVE... M$ is keeping close eyes on every Xbox on XLIVE and when it sees there's change you will get banned and will have to get new Xbox to get on XLIVE...

I just assembled 2nd Xbox from various junk parts I've accumulated over the year just for XLIVE...
