Been playing the likes of Pro Evo 4 and Tekken 5 through my Panasonic AE200 via a Blaze RGB Cable, which looks pretty good. But, I was curious to see if it's worth getting hold of a Component Cable instead? Will it provide much of a noticable difference in image quality?

Not that much in it TBH. The rez of the PS2 is that low that the AE series seems to flatten the signal out between RGB and Component. -

The difference between Interlaced Component and Interlaced RGB over SCART is so small, I'd be surprised if you could notice it. It all depends on whether you want to use the Progressive Scan modes, which I believe are still pretty rare on PS2 games.Comment
