Mmmm so they put it out at last. Remember this being announced at the end of last year and when slashdot got wind of it, the website took so many hits it went down. Then there were the rumours of it being vapourware etc...

Downloading this now to give it a whirl. Some of the T&Cs are pretty hefty/OTT:

14 boots in the trial... let's see how my P4 2.8 handles Panther...

UPDATE: Uhh not well it would seem. The install (cut down too) took over an hour(!) and it was very jerky during this stage. The when I tried to start it up, I get an 'error in my profile - click OK to see why'. Click OK and nothing happens - I should have known better!

If anyone gets this running at the desktop, I'd be interested to see how it is running stuff like Safari etc. I think I'll stick to running OSX where it belongs.
