      Hi mate!

Not sure if you got your 1gb memory stick yet but I got mine recently from these guys and they deliver fast all for ?94.59 including next day recorded delivery...

For some reason as well, they are being advertised as SanDisk Gaming Mem Stick Pro Duo 1GB and on the packaging it actually says that it's compatible with the PSP!

Hope this helps ya and anyone else after a 1gb MS duo!

Is anyone advertising the 2GB mem cards yet?

Sony has announced at CeBIT 2005 ... its 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo (High Speed) media, the largest capacity media available in the Duo format,... which is easily recognizable by its bold new black colouring.

The 1GB and 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo media will be available across Europe in April
I wonder if higher capacities drain more power than using two lower capacity cards (as some formats do).

                Hello all

New to the boards but a bit hyper having signed up for a PSP with VG+ at the weekend - along with Wipeout Pure, Ridge Racers and a 1GB card shortly afterwards. My poor aching bank balance. Anyway can't say I've seen seen this mentioned anywhere but SanDisk are set to launch a range of `gaming friendly' Pro Duo sticks shortly after the PSP launch: http://www.sandisk.com/retail/gaming.asp

I did a bit of searching around on eBay and managed to Preorder the 1GB version from a US seller for just over ?72. In fact I got the IGB stick and a copy of Ridge Racer for ?101 including P&P. The auction was meant to be for US buyers only but after a quick email echange the seller was happy to send to the UK too. Been an expensive week but that seemed like a bit of a result to me!

those gaming Pro Duo Memory Sticks are readily available already for a little while. Though I must warn everybody you are paying a lot more money for the memory stick only because it has "gaming" written behind it. And ofcourse it has such "fancy & trendy" (read hideous) colours.

Technically it's identical to the "non-gaming" edition of the Pro Duo Memory Stick by Sandisc.

Can't really see how ?72 is paying a lot more money for a stick that usually goes for upwards of ?80? If you can see one cheaper than that on eBay or anywhere else than please share the knowledge, as a mate will gladly snap one up.
