Best Xbox RGB cable and Light Gun?

Couple of questions on behalf of my cousin and boyfriend.

Is the official Advanced scart cable the best for Xbox or do the cheaper ones give just as good a picture?

And they want to buy a light gun so which is the best for Xbox?

Do you have a amp with optical input. if yes you will need an offical xbox advanced scart cable or Joytech Digital AV cable.

If not just get normal XBOX RGB scart cable.

Don't forget XBOX isn't great with RGB Scart cable.
